EPIC Home Improvement, Inc were replacing roofs in our neighborhood. To be honest, we were very unsure of the process, so one day we spoke with our neighbors. It turned out they had worked twice with them for the last 10 years and highly recommended Michael Kim. We were pleasantry surprised how easy is to work with him. He took the time to walk us through the process, the steps, the paperwork. He came multiple times to our house after the inspection, as well as before the roof replacement, then after, and answered patiently all our questions and concerns. We couldn't have been happier that we decided to give them the opportunity to replace our roof. ​We originally started the process of repairing our roof with a different company, who came to inspect the roof and let us know there's damage and they'd take care of the insurance process. But after that, our insurance sent in their own inspector and identified the damage as vandalism, and we never heard from the other company again. I share this to highlight the skepticism with which we approached selecting a company to finish the project. We had called a local company our neighbors were using, but they were very slow to respond and confirm if this is something they'd be able to take on this year. In the meantime, Sarah found us and was able to get us all the information, samples, and quotes in record time. We had seen Sarah around the neighborhood as well and felt comfortable proceeding. It is not common that these house repair experiences are positive for us, but I cannot think of a single flaw or critique to provide Sarah and the team. She was nearby the entire day, ready to answer any questions. In the midst of the shingles replacement, they also found signs of a leak, took a picture, and repaired it! All with our permission, of course. The new roof has now been through Chicago summer, fall, and winter weather, and we are not seeing any issues. I am so thankful that Sarah found us at that moment!
